Frozen Jr.

With shows like frozen and Disney shows that everyone is very familiar with I wanted to play homage to their classic feel and look but I also wanted to combine elements of traditional Norwegian fashion and culture into the play. I decided I wanted Elsa's frozen costume to be heavily inspired on the Bunad along with Anna, and the trolls. For our set we painted Nordic runes on our stairs that symbolized sisterhood, betrayal, water, ice.

At the same time I push my actors to go beyond the movie and find what they can relate to in the script and encourage them to make each scene and song their own. Go beyond the bounds of the movie, or the already stage Broadway production.
